My memory of Texadelphia on the drag is of a better cheesesteak than I've gotten the last few times I've eaten at a Texadelphia (up in Dallas, and most recently, this location). I remember going to the original on the drag right after it opened and becoming a regular there. Maybe it's too much nostalgia, but the cheeseteaks seemed to be better then.
Decent cheesesteak, but not overly flavorful--required addition of salt and pepper to bring out some flavor. Bread kind of chewy and unremarkable. Great mustard blend. Great salsa. Great queso (although I didn't have it this time). Very crowded even at 1:00. Busy shopping center with lots of restaurants. Across Great Hills Trail from The Arboretum.
Not bad, but there has to be a better cheesesteak out there.

Actually manages to be worse than a Hot Pocket. That's gotta count for something. I've had better philly cheesesteak sandwiches out of a hostpital lobby vending machine.
Finally lived up to it's old original taste

Ate at the one by Lakeline mall today and it was fresh and yummy with all that mustard blend sauce on it. It was in the middle of a Wednesday afternoon though so there weren't many customers. I have been really disappointed the last few times I've eaten at various locations (the one by SMU in Dallas and the location near the Arboretum in Austin). If you love their mustard blend sauce like I do, just ask for extra because it's no longer self-serve but the friendly guy who took my order assured me that I could have as much as I wanted. Great service and food but kinda pricey - just shy of $10 for a Cheesesteak, chips, salsa and a DP.
Still not sure

Stale tortilla chips and dill pickles - WTF?
I ordered a Chicken Philly with mustard sauce.
I was unable to taste the bread or the chicken.
It tasted like something hot stuffed in something chewy with mustard on top.
I like the Chicken Phillies at Delaware. Onions and shrooms - and greasy cheese.
An insult to the term cheesesteak.

There have only been a few times when I have actually been offended by food - as if being served this slop was a personal attack.
I've had cheesesteaks all over hell and high water and lord knows I had far more crummy and shrug worthy than I have wonderful.
Texadelphia is just plain awful. Stuff a roll of paper towels with sloppy meat and garbage sauce and pay $8.00 for the honor of choking it down. Yipee!
I'd rather have a Steak-UM from an elementary school.
Horrible

Did I have no taste buds in college. I remember going a few times in college. I dont have any memories of it either way. I have gone twice in the last year. The first time I thought maybe I was just unlikely. It was horrible. I felt like I was just getting some grease with a little meat in it. Also they have retarded commercials with some girl singing about meat.
Teh Suck!

Hope you like warm dough and cheap frozen meat. The sauce, be it mustard or whatever, IS the flavor. A paradise for sandwich newbies and non-Local Frat scum.
